Jared Hovis - Fri & Sat - October 2nd & 3rd

Jared Hovis is bringing 90s honky tonk straight from Nashville to Guitars & Cadillacs Omaha — two nights only, Friday October 2nd & Saturday October 3rd!

Jared Hovis grew up in Burney, a small town in Northern California, where he fell in love with country music thanks to his grandfather. When he wasn't playing guitar he was out hunting and fishing, and that rural upbringing runs all the way through his music. After a chance meeting with Jon Pardi, who told him to go chase it, Hovis quit his construction job, loaded up his pickup, and drove to Nashville.

Since then he's played Nashville's essential stages and opened for Mark Wills. He's a multi-instrumentalist who handles guitar, banjo, piano, and drums, and his sound is built on the artists he grew up on: George Strait, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Keith Whitley. Singles like "Comin' Over Sober," "Bad Ole Days," and "Honky Tonk Therapy" hit that classic 90s honky tonk groove that fills a dance floor and keeps it full.

Two nights on our stage. Grab your boots and come see what Nashville's been talking about.
