Hayden Baker - Fri & Sat - Oct 23rd & 24th
Hayden Baker is bringing Texas country to Guitars & Cadillacs — honky-tonk grit with a Telecaster on fire!
Hayden Baker is a Texas-based country artist out of Katy whose sound blends classic honky-tonk with a contemporary edge. He got his start the way country legends do: at three years old he was handed a small-scale Mark II acoustic signed by Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks, with Ronnie adding the same advice Chet Atkins once gave him — "Hayden, practice." Twenty years later, after the release of his second project, Hayden got a phone call from the man who signed that guitar, and became the first artist/writer signed to Ronnie Dunn's publishing company, Perfect Pitch.
Football and baseball took up most of his younger years, and it wasn't until he watched Brad Paisley shred at the Houston Rodeo at sixteen that he knew exactly what he wanted to do. Paisley has since gone from idol to friend, calling Hayden "an old-school Tele ripper," gifting him a prized Telecaster, and playing alongside him on the instrumental "Don't Meet Your Heroes."
Seven years, four albums, an EP, more than 200 songs, and over 500 shows later, Hayden has built his following the old-fashioned way — hard work, no major label, no viral shortcut. He's charted singles on the Texas Regional Radio Report, racked up millions of streams, and shared stages with Willie Nelson, Tracy Lawrence, Joe Nichols, Easton Corbin, Larry Gatlin, Aaron Watson, Randall King, Parker McCollum, and Wade Bowen. In 2025 he was named Musician of the Year at the Texas Country Music Industry Awards.
Live, you'll get all of it — tear-jerking ballads that could have come straight out of the '90s, up-tempo honky-tonk to keep the floor moving, and guitar solos that'll stop you mid-drink. This is the real thing.
