Jared Hovis - Fri & Sat - June 13 & 14

June 13, 2025 until June 14, 2025

Singer-songwriter Jared Hovis is cutting a name for himself throughout Nashville’s country music scene. The Northern, California native grew up in the rural town of Burney. At a young age Hovis fell in love with country music, which he gives credit to his grandfather. When he wasn’t strumming his guitar or tearing up some old dirt road you could find him in the woods hunting and fishing.

After attending Shasta College in Redding, California Hovis got the chance to meet fellow musician Jon Pardi. Pardi encouraged him to pursue his dream of becoming a country music artist. Soon after, Hovis left his construction job, loaded up his pickup and headed for the neon lights of Nashville, Tennessee. Hovis still credits Pardi to this day for having a big influence on his career.

Since relocating to Tennessee Hovis has released two singles. In his song “Comin’ Over Sober” you get a feel for his raw emotion and truth as a songwriter. Whereas his song “Bad Ole Days” his love of 90’s honky tonk rhythms is apparent. Hovis credits many of the “industry greats” such as George Strait, Merle Haggard, Daryle Singletary and Keith Whitley for having an influence on his sound. The young artist has played many of Nashville’s essential venues and has had the opportunity to open for artist’s such as Mark Wills . As a multi-instrumentalist, Hovis repertoire of skills includes guitar, banjo, piano, and drums.
